Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 27, 2026
Overview
Olympus Hermes is an internal content-operations tool used for the Tier YouTube channel. This policy explains how Google and YouTube data is handled when the channel owner authorizes Hermes through Google OAuth.
Google user data accessed
At the current authorization stage, Hermes requests only the identity and YouTube read-only permissions shown on Google's OAuth consent screen. This may include the authorized account's verified identity information and basic YouTube channel information required to identify and verify the intended Tier channel.
How the data is used
Google user data is used only to authenticate the authorized account, verify that Hermes is connected to the intended YouTube channel, and support the authorized Tier content-operations workflow.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are stored in controlled cloud infrastructure and are not intentionally exposed through this website, public source code, logs, or user-facing reports. Access is restricted to the infrastructure required to operate the authorized workflow.
Sharing and sale
Google user data is not sold. Hermes does not use Google user data for advertising. Data is not shared with third parties except service providers used to operate the authorized infrastructure, or where required by law.
Retention and deletion
OAuth credentials and related operational records are retained only as needed for the authorized Tier workflow, security, auditing, and credential lifecycle management. The channel owner may revoke Google OAuth access through their Google Account permissions. Credentials may also be disabled or destroyed within the system when no longer required.
Future permissions
If Hermes later requires additional Google or YouTube permissions, those permissions will be requested through Google's OAuth consent flow before use. This privacy policy may be updated to reflect any material change in data access or use.
